PANRISK

PANRISK platform includes two models:

• PANRISK spillover model which keeps monitoring animal pathogenic viruses and genomic variation to predict human infection and the cross-border risk of spillover.
  Based on relevant data sources, it will trace epidemic trajectories (growth rate, reproduction numbers), ecological interactions (i.e. host spillover rates) and spatial-temporal patterns (diffusion rates, source-sink dynamics)
• PANRISK epidemiologic model which consists of an automated and continuous outbreaks monitoring to give alarm when viruses exceed appropriate thresholds based on test data. It takes input from different diseases with similar transmission mode, across animal and human populations, seasons, and countries by using public sequence databases

Risk scores are calculated with 80-90% prediction accuracy.
