PAIR at the Vienna Technical Museum!

PAIR project featured among the ten outstanding projects in the fields of medical technologies and life sciences at the Innovation Corner of the Vienna Technical Museum.

From June 10 to September 30, 2024, the Innovation Corner exhibition gathers research institutions, businesses, and start-ups to present the most pioneering technological outcomes, methods, and techniques in the medical and life sciences fields.

In addition to displaying, among others, the prototype of a high-tech wearable for people with diabetic neuropathy, non-invasive methods for comprehensive health diagnostics and virtual reality to help treat mobility impairments caused by Parkinson’s disease, the exhibition showcases how PAIR project helps assess the risk of pandemics based on virus detection through the development of PANPOC and PANRISK.

PAIR is represented by Matthias Pilecky from the University of Continuing Education Krems to exchange knowledge and highlight the importance of assessing pandemic risk and fostering preparedness in the future.
