On 10–11 September 2026, the PAIR consortium will meet in Lyon, France, hosted by Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL), for a new partner meeting bringing together the project’s clinical, veterinary, technological and modelling teams.

The meeting will provide an important opportunity to take stock of progress across PAIR’s main areas of work. Partners will discuss the ongoing analytical and field validation of PANPOC, its future clinical evaluation in human samples, the development of the PANRISK spillover and epidemiological models, and the next steps towards implementation in real-world clinical and veterinary settings.

A strong focus will also be placed on working across disciplines. During the second day, partners will split into dedicated PANPOC, PANCLIN and PANRISK teams for parallel sessions designed to address challenges, align upcoming activities and strengthen collaboration between the different components of the project.

Beyond scientific and technical progress, the Lyon meeting will also support PAIR’s broader work on implementation, stakeholder engagement, dissemination and exploitation, helping ensure that the project’s results can move from research towards practical use.
